Up-and-coming author and editor Daniela Angulo does nothing if it isn’t related to reading and writing. She writes articles for Christian readers at The Gospel Coalition and blogs about her fiction writing on Instagram as she works on her debut novel, The Monsters That Made Us. She’s been writing since she was five years old, and that has led to her graduating from Florida International University with a degree in English (Writing and Rhetoric) and a minor in marketing.

Editor...

A daughter of Cuban immigrants, Daniela lives in Miami where she enjoys being able to work as an editorial intern and write in her free time while finishing up her studies.

Being in editing gives her the ability to work remotely, which she has done at both of her internships, one with Study Breaks magazine, and one with The Gospel Coalition. Daniela is passionate about the fact that the best editors are writers, and the best writers are editors.

Combining those two skills, she specializes in helping to create excellent copy, edit multiple kinds of web content that hooks readers, and helping to manage the administrative parts of running a website. All of this she does with the creative edge that only comes from writing fiction.

Writer...

If you’re looking for your next literary adventure, you can stop here. Daniela’s upcoming debut novel, The Monsters That Made Us is a fantasy novel aimed at the young adult age range, and explores deep themes that tie into her Christian values beneath a swashbuckling tale of pirates and adventure, folklore that even mermaids whisper about.

She’s been working on it for years, and this site is where you can find the most up-to-date information on the writing process and what she’s going to do next. Daniela frequently shares tips regarding fiction writing as a young Christian, and even snippets of her novel.
